Since 1969, Pelham Baseball has created a safe and healthy environment for children to develop their baseball skills as well as learn the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. Through the generosity of volunteers and sponsors, we provide an outlet of activity while building the confidence of each participant by recognizing effort above accomplishment. Our core goal is to develop and enrich the lives of our youth through their Cal Ripken / Babe Ruth experience.
As a partner with Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), we aim to transform the culture of youth sports to give all young athletes the opportunity for a positive, character-building experience. Focusing on "honoring the game", players are taught life lessons, as well as respect for the game, their coaches, teammates and opponents. By promoting the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, Pelham Baseball is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.
